I was pleasantly surprised by this game. Rented it to check it out not expecting to be anything special but after 3-4 games I got hooked. The game can be very hard and the controls frustrating but overall a satisfying game especially when you get enough of shooting or playing "instruments" on GH or RB. I've returned the game now but intend to buy it soon as I find it under £15.

Fifa 08 - good game

I've returned the game now but intend to buy it soon as I find it under £15.

I've pre-ordered Fifa 09 Dren. In the last week, I've downloaded the demo's for Bad Company, Madden 09 and Too Human but wasn't impredded by either.
So far the only game to catch my attention is GoW 2.
I meant 'impressed' in my earlier comment.. ;)
Ha! I pre-ordered Fifa 09 too. We'll have to hook for some games on Live.
Re Battlefield Bad Company - when I played the demo I thought average/rubbish but then I couldn't help myself and got the game and I think it's ok/good. probably would give it 7.5/10. Look at it this way: if you're bored of the games you have and like to try a new one - get it. It'll keep you entertained for quite a few hours even though it is not a "wow" game.
